Looks like we'll again be having three set up on stage five this year.

First: will again be a "Poker Shoot" with prizes from Grand Victoria Casino in Elgin. :good:   A little different this year as we'll be having you shoot the backs of cards without knowing what the ranks are and make it completely by chance.  Probably be five bucks a pass through with one or two reloads on the line being able to be purchased.

Second: will be a bull's eye contest with actual skill being part of it and the prizes from Eagle Grips.  Big Grit is running and designing this one. :2gunsfiring_v1:

Third the "Blind Bull's Eye" with the pendant/watch fob as the main prize.  Believe there might have been someone who won that last year by buying one shot.   Again, five dollars a shot for a chance at a twenty five hundred dollar prize.

Pair-a-Dice is again designing the stages and tells me that they will pretty much be "stand and deliver"  :2gunsfiring_v1: so we can get more of your money at the side matches after the main match.

(with apologies to Lerner and Loewe)

C'est moi, c'est moi, I'm forced to admit.
'Twas I, I humbly reply.
That mortal who, such shooting did do,
C'est moi, c'est moi, 'twas I.

I never gave it a second of thought,
Five dollars for just one shot.
I stepped right up, and with careful aim,
I won the big jackpot!

C'est moi! C'est moi! So clever of wit!
The famed Canadian of yore.
And here I stand, with five bucks - or ten,
Exceedingly calm, just like I was then,
To win a pendant once more!

Update on the bulls eye side match.  We're thinking it will be at about a distance of thirty to thirty five yards shot with your cowboy match rifle.

Five bucks for five shots and three dollars for a reshoot while at the line from the first target.  You'll have one "sighter" to start if you wish and then shoot the five for score.

Standing position with no rest or other assist.

Can a shooter buy more than one reshoot while at the line?

For those who might wish a to shoot a sighter to start, have you worked out the mechanics of how you will discount the sighting shot - i.e. pasting a marker over it, or having separate targets set at the same distance for sighting, etc.?

For those near-sighted shooters who rely on the steel clang to know they hit the rifle targets in regular matches, any thoughts about a having a spotting scope or binoculars for shooters to see exactly where their sighting shot hit, or prohibiting them now to avoid difficulties with gamers bringing their own?

Hmmm    maybe I could make some money renting out my .44 Special Marlin to someone who normally shoots a .38 cal....

Not to worry little friend.  The sighter will be on a separate target and yes we'll have something there to assist with the spotting.

Probably need to buy reshoot before coming to the line.  We need to move this thing along as fast as possible as the matches all take place at the same time and after the main match.  You will be able to go through as many times as you wish.

Poker shoot: $5 for five and $2 for sixth $1 for seventh ($8 if you want seven cards).

Bullseye: $5 for five and $3 more for second target purchased before coming to the line.

Blind Bullseye:  $5 a shot with limit of ten rounds per pass through the matches.
