Arms-a-gettin

The battle has begun. Is it just another periodic lib-tard move to appease their hoplophobic supporters, or a serious attempt to achieve the next step in Obama's dream of a socialist state for this country? Will America stand as a free republic, or will it become a socialist state with a disarmed population of controlled subject?

It is interesting that one of Obama's executive orders is ". "Provide incentives for schools to hire school resource officers." (armed guards). Why does the media call Wayne LaPierre crazy for speaking the plain truth - "The only thing that will stop a bad guy with a gun is a good guy with a gun." - but get all smoochy-faced with Obama for issuing an Executive Order to provide "incentives" (just your tax dollars, or will there be some Federal threats to persuade schools to comply?) for schools to hire armed guards?
QUOTE FROM MR. MO CANADY, EXEC. DIR., NASRO & FORMER SCHOOL RESOURCE OFFICER:

Q: Should anyone else, other than a police officer, be armed on school property (e.g. school staff, community volunteers, etc. who are not law enforcement officers)?

A: No. NASRO believes that only a fully-trained law enforcement officer should carry a firearm on school property. In addition, law enforcement officers assigned permanently to schools should receive specialized SRO training as soon as possible.
If an assault rifle ban succeeds, it will be time to start thinking about what comes next. This site asks an important question:
