Just got a Facebook post from Ugly. He was scheduled for hip replacement surgery, but had to cancel. He has bladder cancer they are going to operate on December 22nd. Keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
how about listing Ugly's real name and address. I would like to send him a get well card. Portly.
To my pards,

Thank you for the good thoughts and well-wishes. While this is a set back, the doctors are very positive in that they believe the cancer was detected at the very onset and, if everything is just right, they feel they can cut it out and that I might be able to return home on that day or the next. Fingers crossed. If that's true, that explains why I've been unlucky with my lotto tickets but, I'll take a winner here. I'll repost after the surgery and what the results are.
He's to mean and UGLY to let anything get or keep him down!

Actually when you get the hip replacement you'll probably find that to be a walk in the park. Good that prep for that found the other.

Hang in there.
Just talked to Jerry (UGLY) and he is doing as best as can be for now. He's home and healing and will POST next week when he can sit up better. He said the Doc's got all the tumors and all looks good. He wishes all of us a MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR and same wishes from me to you all.
Well, home for now; catheter is out, just have to rest and heal for a while. Doctor wants to do the same surgery in @ 3 months, on account of the amount and size of the tumors I had; he just wants to be positive that all is removed. I can go back to out and move around depending on how I feel so, that's good news. Might still need a chemo "flush" after all the surgeries are done so, more good stuff to look forward to. Beats the alternative, that's for sure. So, thank all of you for your concern and well-wishes; it is all appreciated. I have to get on a program now so that I'm not weak as a kitten by the time I'm able to get out and trying to shoot again.
Hope to see all ya all down the trail sometimes soon.
Glad you are OK. Chemo takes a lot from you, but like you said "beats the alternative"
Hope to see you shooting soon.
Wish you all the best
To all those who prayed and sent good vibes and wishes, who gave me such needed support and concern and love, its my extreme pleasure to tell you that I am cancer FREE. My Doctor was shocked at the path results. Last time I saw him he was not very happy with what he still saw. He was so very happy to show us the results. I will be watched closely but no further treatment will be needed. Check-up in May. God bless you all and keep you healthy and safe. I'm as weak as a kitten and need rehab but, hopefully I will be able to show up at matches and actually try to shoot when the weather permits. Thank you so much. <img src='http://www.goodguysposse.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/yahoo.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':yahoo:' /> <img src='http://www.goodguysposse.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/gunfighter.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':gunfighter:' />
