Good report by Wayne LaPierre on the U.N.and there coming proposed gun ban,be sure to read it.Also be sure to send in your card to Kofi Annan.The one thing I didn't like about the message to Kofi Annan was Mr. LaPierre ended the message by saying"this is a battle you can never win".It has been my experience that when you toss up a challenge to some one and tell them they can't do something,Perhaps they can't,but they never stop trying.that part of the message would have been better unsaid.They told Henry Ford "that thing will never work",The Wright bros. it'l never fly,Lindberg you'l never make it,so lets hope this one never happens.Take care

Thanks, Wyatt. I just received the Rifleman yesterday and haven't had a chance to read it. The UN wants our guns but they don't seem to have any problem with Iran, No. Korea, etc. having them!

First, Kofi will never see the post cards. Second he ain't going to be Pres forever. Third if you want to really have a chance at accomplishing anything, compose your own note/letter and send that. They know that it takes little effort for people to mail preprinted cards, but an actual letter carries much more weight. I will compose my own and send it, but unfortunately these a-- h---- are not elected by us and have little to fear from our outrage. The people to go after are the elected a-- h---- that we do have some control (be in minor) over. We should have walked away from the UN (Useless Ninnies) along time ago.<br />

Remember I come from the land of "The Two Dicks," Durbin and Dailey, need I say more? Nothing is going to change the way they want to go (eliminating the 2nd Amendment altogether). <br />

Have attached a copy of the love note for Kofi Annan. Instead of the post card that was in the NRA magazines I thought that it might carry more impact, if any at all. <br />

JJ, outstanding letter!!!!!!!! Do you mind if I copy and use it?

I have no problem with anyone using the letter, but again if it is done verbatim, the effect is diluted. Slight changes expressing the same ideas would be good.
