The following shooters are in the school, with one waiting for confirmation.<br />

The school will be held at the GGP Range on Saturday Sept. 30, <br />
and Sunday Oct. 1, 2006. The info I have from Tequila is as follows:<br />
-AMMO NEEDED: 300 pistol, 300 rifle and 100 shotgun.<br />
-Start time Saturday, 08:00, finish ???? You will need to bring a bag lunch.<br />
-Start time Sunday, 07:00 and finish up approximately 11:30 am. <br />
(I have to take him to Chicago to catch a plane back to Texas)<br />
-Tequila would like to go out to dinner as a group on Saturday night<br />
for those who can make it.<br />

    I was planning on overnighting in the RV at the range.....if people would rather sit around a campfire than go out to dinner Saturday, I will offer to supply the brats and cook them Sheboygan style in beer, butter, and onions.<br />

    I can also bring the propane cooker and large pot, if someone wants to bring sweet corn......

    Thanks everyone for your participation in the class. Because of the last minute people who wanted in the class, Pumpkin and I have given up our slots so everyone could take the class. There are more shooters than originally posted, but after talking with Tequila, he said it would be no problem working them in.     Good idea, but I will have to make some calls to clear everything. When I get answers, I'll post it all here.<br />

    I have had several questions about spectators at the range. I will ask Tequila about this and post his answer here.<br />

    I talked to Tequila yesterday. He is in CA working on the TV show. He will be back in Texas Monday and we will shore up all the info for the class and he is sending me an outline for the class that I will post here as well. He is trying different airports to see who has the latest flight back to Texas so he can stay longer.<br />

    Tequila may ship all his equipment here to my house (except his guns) so that it will cut down on his check in time at the airport. I have him covered with everything except a pair of new model Vaqueros. Would anyone have a set they would be willing to loan him for the school if he needs them?<br />

    Besides the ammo and a bag lunch for Saturday, it would be wise to bring a lawn chair. I am going to the range the Friday before to set up a couple of the canopys we have if any one is available to help.<br />

    All things being equal, I should be able to help you set up the canopies on Friday. Also, I don't have the Rugers, but if anyone would want to use either of the pair of Cimmirons they'd be welcome to use those.

    I, for one, am absolutely tickled pink to see that this has come to fruition. I am eagerly awaiting the event.<br />

    I rather like Doc Bonecutter's suggestion. I have an hour drive home, and restauranting might be a bit tough, plus going home and returning the next day. I will have to "get outta' Dodge" on Sunday afternoon as I have to fly back to work that evening, but it will be a great experience, and I am only sorry I won't be able to hang on Sunday. If you can't get the camping thing done, maybe as an alternative the Sunrise (at the Curve)?<br />

    I got the approval with the camping and cooking at the range. I think this will be better than trying to find a place to hold us all without reservations. <br />

    However, I would like to hear from some of the others that will be there so we get a majority voice. Dev has voiced his opinion.<br />

    I would bet if you show up Saturday to fill the coolers with pop and water, the 2 Docs would let you stay for brats and corn!<br />

    I like the idea of range cooking for Saturday night. Can the rest of us camp there,too. I like living in a tent so I don't have do mess with things like shaving. I/m sure my wife would also be happy to make a batch of cookies for desert. <br />
