9-11 Tribute...a bit different.

There have been many wonderful tributes to the victims of the 9-11 terrorist attack. While reading the Chicago Tribune (Monday Dec. 4th) I came accross an article about how the US Postal Service is handling the Hundreds of letters it receives dailey addressed to the The World Trade Center. Not surprising, the towers were assigned their own Zip Code - 10048. Technically the address no longer exists, however The Post Office, after 5 years, is continually forwarding 1st Class Mail if a new address is on file. Mail that cannot be forwarded is returned to sender. Normally Mail is forwarded for free for just 1 year. Alot of it can be atributed to mailing programs that have not been updated. The rest, one can only guess.
