D.D., when I try to customize my electronic letters I try to change fonts and the program won't let me. I can get bold and change sizes and colors but I cannot make use of the other type faces. I don't think that it's my computer; I can only imagine that what with program changes and such maybe everything hasn't been picked up for customizing e-mails. Didn't know if you were aware of this problem, (if it is a problem) and thought I would drop you a line so that possibly you could find out why the different fonts don't work. Thanks in advance.<br />
<br />
<br />
Hmmm, some of the font changes worked here. Possibly when I try to change the type size a command gets nulified because a particular font won't go up to a certain size? I don't know, just "winging" it here from weird stuff that used to happen to the programs I used to have to work with when I was working.<br />
<br />
This is the same type of commands that pop up when I try to do this in the Hitching Post; don't know why things are different here.
<br />
<br />
Also, I couldn't post a new topic in "Important Stuff" or "New Topics" whereas I had done that before; is there a block on those subjects now?<br />
<br />
Talk soon.<br />
<br />
Ug

    "Important Stuff" & "New Features" is where I post information, instruction and updates to the board it self. You may reply to topics there but not start them. I don't want the "instructional stuff" to be driven down the stack by numerous posts on those forums. What I have below is a copy of your message that shows all the various misplaced code elements. <br />

    Under Important Stuff you will find a link to an instructional page for using bbcode.

    Okay Den, thanks. I guess I remember posting but it had to be in reply to something you had originally posted. I'll check out about the fonts and sizes et al when I post again. Thanks. See ya at Bristol.<br />
    <br />
    Okay, I think I see what the problem was. When I would preview the posting, I was under the impression that all of the fonts and stuff would show immediately; after I said to post the item, the changes took place, hence the edited post here. Boy, an I a maroon.

    Ug, this is the first time you have said something accurate. BTW, "maroon" is a color (like red). You indeed are a moron. <img src='http://www.goodguysposse.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/bebe3.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':bebe3:' /> Had to get one last stab at ya cuz I won't see ya until next spring . . . . . . . Shoot fast and straight at Bristol this weekend.

    THE MGS: No, maroon was intentional. It comes from the comedy "Johnny Dangerously" where the bad guy was the stereotypical gangster but he just slaughtered the pronunciation of all sorts of words; i.e. maroon for moron, bastiges for bast**ds, and so on. Looks like it might be a bit chilly this weekend but that's what hand warmers are for I suppose. See ya next season. Take care.
