Hope to see you there!!

Our Club's Vote on Equip. Mods.

The poll has been overwhelmingly in favor of rejecting the proposed equipment modifications rules and I've submitted our club's vote to "reject".
Thanks to all for participating!
Once again, thanks for the work you put into our shooting sport; the posse, the web site, the matches, the range, on and on; it's really appreciated.
Now, I have a question: I liked the polling program you had for the vote. My question is: was that your own program or one that the wild bunch sent out to TGs for polling purposes? I liked the fact that it announced that a person had already voted (preventing Chicago-type voting [vote, and vote often]), but, also allowed one to view the results and keep on checking to see how the voting was going. Nifty. <img src='http://www.goodguysposse.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbsup.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

    Ug,
No, SASS had nothing to do with this. This was part of the Good Guys Posse Hitching Post but all the features had not yet been implemented. As time goes on and I have the time, I'll implement a few more where appropriate and continue to "hand program" some other features like the countdown clock on the Hitching Post main page and the new headers on the main website that I coded to match those on the Hitching Post. As the saying goes: "More will be revealed!".
Thanks for the kind words. When I know folks appreciate the work and find it useful, my time is well spent.

PS - SASS could have done the same thing on the SASS wire but chose not to do so for some reason. I guess they have the polling feature deactivated.
