Howdy folks!<br />

In recent years, three young members of the Good Guys Posse have received over $10,000 in scholarship grants from the SASS Scholarship Fund. And there are many others in our area and across the country who have benefitted from this assistance.<br />
<br />
This year we are holding our 1st Annual SASS Scholarship Charity Shoot to do our part in supporting the SASS Scholarship Fund and the young shooters who are the future of our favorite sport. All proceeds from the main match and the many side matches will be donated to the SASS Scholarship Fund.<br />
<br />
Some of our sponsors have already donated prizes and we expect more. The big one, of course, is the '49er California Gold Rush Tribute Pendant, designed and donated by Jeweler Jim and Ken Keehn - worth in the neighborhood of $1,600. This and other prizes will be awarded to winners of the various events. If you have prizes you wish to donate, we would appreciate anything you wish to add to the event.<br />

We encourage you to help publicize this match by forwarding this flyer to your cowboy shooting friends, posting a copy of the flyer at cowboy events and coming down to Dry Gulch Ranch on August 29, 2009, and shooting with us. If you can't make the Charity Shoot and wish to contribute, send us a check made out to the SASS Scholarship Fund and we'll include it along with our donations.<br />
