Things to do.

Here is the list of things I have come up with that you can add onto.<br />
<br />
#1.- 07:00hrs Have fun eat donuts unless of course we are doing breakfast at the Sunrise Cafe first.<br />
#2.- 07:05hrs Shoot the bull with all the pards.<br />
#3- 08:30 hrs Straighten out the big buffalo target so that it is in line with the berm as we had numerous complaints last year about excessive splatter towards stage 4 & 5. I would suggest we figure out a way to tilt it so that the expended round travels downward once the buffalo is struck. I think a bolt, length of chain and a stake into the ground would pull the feet back enough to give it that downward angle. Any other RRS with ideas please chime in here.<br />
#4- 09:00hrs All the new loading tables need to be placed. (Thanks again to all the RRS that helped to build those, they look great). <br />
#5- 10:00hrs Tell more jokes and have fun.<br />
#6- 10:15hrs Once the tables are in place we need to replace the splatter fences. Some were blown over the last two weeks with the storms and I layed them flat on the ground so they would not worp. I think only one obtained damage and it appeared minor.<br />
#7- 11:30hrs Take a break have a sandwhich and tell jokes.<br />
#8- 12:15hrs All the targets should be checked and damaged ones removed so we can figure out how to get them fixed or replaced.<br />
#9- 13:00hrs Set the remainder of the targets up (paint?) and put the splatter logs out. Same for seating benches, round tables for water (maybe hot cocoa for the first shoot) etc.<br />
#10- 14:00hrs We should probably get a year beginning inventory of the trailer, storage shed and other items :ie: barricade tape,paint etc etc etc.<br />
#11- 14:30hrs Move the ornaments back in their positions such as the guard cows and anything else that would continue to enhance the atmopshere of the range.<br />
#12- 15:00hrs Sit back , take pictures and come up with more ideas for our range, oh and do the NO RAIN DANCE for the next weekend.<br />

Well first things first,lets do breakfast at the Sunrise,what time ?,and if it does rain,how about we do ,or should I say "stage" fake fights like in a john wayne movie and who ever has the best Fake fight gets to hold the large buffalo by his feet during our shoot on the 15 th. How about breakfast at the usual place at about 8 am. We could be at the range around 9 am and it should have warmed up a bit by then.<br />

I might be able to come help out this Saturday. I might be able to even join you pards for breakfast. If so, where is the usual place and how do I get there? I would be comin' from Janesville on Hwy. 14. Do I need to bring any tools, guns, etc.?

We usually have breakfast at the Sunrise Cafe, right on Hwy 14 on the north side of the square in Walworth.<br />

Keep in mind that if this wet weather continues, we might have to cancel the work party as we don't want to tear up the road. I'll post something here when the day gets closer.<br />

Not too familiar with that part of WI. How fer is Walworth from Darien? Is going down Hwy 14 from Janesville through Darien the best/fastest way to get to Walworth?

Yep. A couple of miles further down 14 from the range.
