How to Get to the Dry Gulch Ranch Cowboy Range

Hope to see you there!!

New Shooter

Well, I have aquired all the guns needed to get my wife Anna shooting this year. 2 Cimerron Colt Thunderers, Rossi 92 SRC, all in .38, and a Stoeger Coach Gun in 20 Gauge. I'm really looking forward to this season. She will have graduated from Rasmussen College with an Associates degree in Massage Theropy. We havent finalized an alias yet, but are leaning towards "Kneeds Stretchn". Kinda rolls off the tongue, yes? Especially for a Massage Therpist. lol
Anwhoo, thought I'd share the good news. See you all in April.
Howdy and a pre-welcome to your Missus!
If those guns are chambered for .357/.38, you might want to consider shooting ammo with the magnum-length cases. My Ruger Bisleys and Marlin lever rifle are .44 Magnum caliber and they seemed (especially the rifle) to lead up faster when I shoot Cowboy .44 Special loads instead of Cowboy .44 Magnum rounds. I normally shoot Ultramax cowboy ammo.
I don't reload. Perhaps someone who does reload and shoots .357/.38 caliber can chime in on the home-rolled side of ammunition.
Just a thought to ponder while counting down the days to the first match of the season.
• The rifle is 38/357, the pistols are .38 only. I do reload so I have some time to see what works and what doesn'. went out today but it was too windy for any accuracy testing. I guess it is february. <img src='http://www.goodguysposse.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/thumbdown.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
 • Welcome Anna! I like the possible alias. Big Grit
