How to Get to the Dry Gulch Ranch Cowboy Range

Hope to see you there!!

Thanks Jeweler Jim

While shooting at Sycamore today Jeweler Jim let me shoot his Uberti 1866 "Yellow Boy". I gota tell ya, That is one nice rifle! It looks really nice, feels heavier than my Marlin. It feels a bit different while shooting & like my Marlin, it shoots dead on. In my Cowboy Cart it appears to have a longer barrel. They're both 20". The 1866 has a longer stock so it's longer overall. It's a fun rifle to shoot & I'd seriously consider owning one. J.J. has attended to the "Loading Gate" potential problem. Some have commented that the 1866 will not shoot as fast as a 73. Well, that may be but I'm a part of SASS to enjoy myself and have fun shooting. I do want to shoot well & I try my best. When I take the time to haul all this great Cowboy stuff out to the range for an average of an hour or so one way, I'm looking to have fun. The 1866, like my new Remington 1875 "Outlaws" is Fun to shoot. This, of course, is just one Cowboy's opinion. Thank you Jewler Jim. <img src='http://www.goodguysposse.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/good.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':good:' /> <img src='http://www.goodguysposse.org/forums/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/good.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':good:' />
